Treating Acne with Creams
Acne creams are an effective treatment of acne. First wash your face with herbal soap and then use face cream after. Apply and work the acne cream softly on your face, this will absorb the oil into the skin. The oils seal your pores help keep the natural moisture of your skin, thus greatly improving the effects of the cream. Try using the cream at least in the morning and before you go to bed.
The oils, vitamin A and E, and minerals in the creams help to feed, rebuild, and revitalize your skin. The minerals also help to defuse the toxic acids that have infected and inflamed the pores on your face.
To make the cream even more effective try adding 5 to 10 drops of pure tree tea oil to you 2 ounce container. Do not use more than 15. Tree tea oil has been found to be effective on various other skin disorders as well. It acts as an antibacterial, antiseptic, and anti fungal. Using the tree oil will assist in eliminating bacteria and fungus by providing oxygen to the cells, this will help to repair damaged skin from the acne.
By adding borage oil to cream it can enhance its curing power. Teens are usually effected by this because adrenal glands produce large quantities of androgens. These androgens are what help with your bones growing and your sexual maturity. Oils are release in excess from the glands near hair follicles which is a side effect of these androgens. As a result there is a rise in the number of black heads, white heads, pimples and cysts. Be cautious though, if you develop any skin rashes or irritations it is advised to discontinue its use.
There are creams with benzoyl peroxide. Cream with 2.5% benzoyl peroxide is most suited for most skin types. A stronger strength of 10% is also available, but a lower strength of benzoyl peroxide is proven to be more effective in treating acne. People think a strong dose will combat a severe case of acne, but they are wrong. It may be appealing, but they are not just as effective. About 3% of people are allergic to benzoyl peroxide and may experience crusting or swelling of the skin. You can apply on a small area as a test before you begin to use it.
