Diet And Acne Secret Link Uncovered
The diet and acne balloon has at last been blown. A section of the medical profession who believed there was no link between a person’s daily diet and his or her having acne has now admitted the fallacy. Studies on the topic conducted quite recently have shown the convincing connection between diet and the disease condition that none can deny. The very fact that addition or withdrawal of certain types of food item from someone’s menu affects the person’s hormonal secretion to a great extent, thereby creating dramatic changes in his or her acne manifestations is fairly noteworthy.
It is therefore, a simple corollary that our dietary options have a strong cumulative effect on our physical pathology as well as soul that shapes our body and mind. Appropriate diet shapes us from the inside and outside at the same time. The earlier theory of diet having no impact on chronic pathological conditions like acne, therefore, is a myth.
The strongly established link between diet and acne has been established by Dr. Cordian, who while conducting a research on people living in the Kitavan Islands found that none of the islanders had acne. Mind you, there was no cosmetic medicinal facility available in that remote island, and there were no professional dermatologist to advise the natives about hormone imbalance. Of course there were no drugs too. It was nothing but traditional food that the innocent natives consumed which prevented the spread of this distressing disease condition.
Researchers recorded a strong connection between certain type of food that include refined carbohydrates, hydrogenated oils, dairy products and yeasty savories and acne. Removal of these items from the menu of an acne sufferer, they were surprised to observe, yielded a decline in the virulence of the disease condition. However the diet alone will not work as a cure for acne.
And there are reasons galore to reemphasize the statement. Food is but one contributory factor that triggers acne. There are other more complex factors which collectively contribute towards the formation of acne. These causes are all internal and they need to be neutralized as well for successfully fighting acne. In fact, this multi-dimensional disease condition may first be internally controlled through diet but for a radical cure, the only way out is holistic treatment that ensures lifelong acne freedom.
In conclusion it needs to be pointed out that there is nothing as an “acne diet”, though the relationship between the two exists. Many of us eat incorrect food, but not all suffer from acne and so it can be said that food do not cause acne directly. So there is just one way to permanently get rid of acne and that is by treating the internal environment and the causes - but the correct diet and acne principle should be followed.
