There are so many cures for break outs on the market today, it can be somewhat overwhelming to choose what will work best for you.

Here are three tips to help you choose body acne products that work.

#1. Is the product easy to use.

Especially with a product to treat body acne, it is important to have a product that is easy to use. After all back zits aren’t always the easiest to reach, and a complicated system won’t work very well on body acne if you don’t use it.

I have found that systems that are based with a body wash are the easiest to use. That way you can apply the product in the shower and just rinse off. It’s about the easiest way to treat body acne. I have found that if you have a spot treatment to go along with a body wash this is the most effective method.

#2. Active ingredients are important.

It important to pick a product that has proven acne fighting ingredients, don’t be fooled by big claims and pretty labels. Without the right ingredients you will just be wasting your money.

The two active ingredients that work are benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid. Salicylic acid is preferred because it works better, and because it is far less irritating.

Steer clear of products that don’t contain these ingredients, they probably won’t clear your acne.

#3. If all else fails get a dermatologist on your side.

For over 90% of people these two tips should be enough to clear your body acne, but if it still is acting up, you may need a body acne treatment that is prescribed by a dermatologist.

Dermatologists have powerful prescription medicines that can wipe out even really tough acne.
